All ten units are written, in 23 chapters: three each for Unit II, Constitutional and Administrative Law (rights and the basic structure; the institutions, emergency and special provisions; administrative law), Unit IV, Law of Crimes (the general part; offences against the person, women and children; offences against the State, property and public order with punishment and victim compensation), and Unit VI, Commercial Law (general contract; the specific commercial statutes; company law and CSR); and two for every other unit. The document prints each unit title in capitals ("UNIT – I: JURISPRUDENCE"); the titles above are those words in title case, and the capitalisation is typographic while the words are verbatim. The syllabus is older than several statutes it now covers, and the chapters teach the law as it stands. Unit IV is taught under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, which replaced the Indian Penal Code 1860, the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 and the Indian Evidence Act 1872 from 1 July 2024; the syllabus items are statute-neutral and their concepts carry over, so leading cases decided under the Penal Code are taught for their principles with the former IPC section beside the BNS provision (murder IPC s.302, now BNS s.103; culpable homicide IPC s.299, now BNS s.100; general exceptions IPC ss.76–106, now BNS ss.14–44), and the changes are stated: sedition (IPC s.124A) omitted and BNS s.152 on acts endangering sovereignty, unity and integrity; terrorism (BNS s.113) and organised crime (BNS s.111) in the general code; mob lynching as a specified form of murder; community service as a punishment; and offences against women and children grouped in one chapter. No section number was guessed; a provision whose BNS number was not certain is described without one. Unit V names "The Consumer Protection Act 1986", which was repealed and replaced by the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (in force 20 July 2020); the 2019 Act is taught, with the Central Consumer Protection Authority, product liability, e-commerce and the pecuniary limits revised in 2021. The Motor Vehicles Act 1988 is taught as recast by its 2019 amendment, and the Competition Act 2002 with its 2023 amendment; maintenance under the old CrPC s.125 is taught as BNSS s.144, and the Uttarakhand Uniform Civil Code Act 2024 (in force 27 January 2025) is described factually. The overlap with material already on this platform was scoped unit by unit: Unit VI touches NET Commerce's business-law and corporate-law chapters (contract, sale of goods, partnership, negotiable instruments, the Companies Act, LLP, competition, IT law and IPR); Units II and X touch NET Public Administration's administrative-law, accountability and citizen-governance chapters (rule of law, delegated legislation, Lokpal and CVC, RTI) and its comparative chapter, NET Political Science's institutions, federalism and comparative-structure chapters, and the shared polity course (rights, directive principles, Parliament, the executive, the judiciary, emergency and elections, Centre–State relations); Unit III's WTO touches NET Economics; Unit VIII's environmental treaties touch NET Geography; and Unit VII's family law and domestic violence touch NET Sociology. Each was checked against those chapters and written independently as law, through statutory provisions, doctrine, the ratio of leading cases and the elements of offences and torts; nothing is adapted or reworded.
