Your paper is not sat whole: Part A is common for 55 marks, and in the exam you choose one of Part B1, Surveying and Mapping, or Part B2, Image Processing and Analysis, for 30. It has no separate Engineering Mathematics section and no shared mathematics chapter applies. The Engineering Mathematics heading of Part A is the theory of errors — accuracy against precision, the most probable value, weights, the adjustment of a misclosure and least squares adjustment — followed by regression, the correlation coefficient, tests of significance and the chi-square test, and both are taught in two chapters written for this paper alone, because no shared chapter teaches them. The other three headings of Part A — Remote Sensing, GNSS and GIS — and both Parts B1 and B2 are discipline, with a chapter or more for every heading.
