CareerCraft is an exam-preparation application for BPSC and other competitive examinations. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is handled — for both the website and the Android app (which is a wrapper around the same website).

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a password when you register. Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes — we never store or see your plain-text password.
• Study progress: chapters completed, quiz and mock-test attempts and scores, revision schedules, notes/highlights and uploaded study maps — stored so your preparation syncs across devices.

What we do NOT collect

• No location data, contacts, camera, microphone or device files.
• No advertising identifiers — the app contains no ads and no third-party ad or tracking SDKs.
• No payment information.

How your information is used

• To operate your account and sync study progress across devices.
• To show you your own analytics (strong/weak areas, streaks, scores).
• We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

Data storage & security

Data is stored on our servers and transmitted over HTTPS. Access is limited to what is needed to run the service.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us from your registered email address at prems@shiptli.com. We will delete the account and its study data within 30 days.

Children

The app is intended for competitive-exam aspirants (generally 18+) and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
